The [AR]TWALKs offer a unique way to explore the district through art.
Art meets journalism meets technology where you least expect it.

We spoke with residents, eyewitnesses, and young people, transformed their stories into sound and art, and returned them to the urban landscape.
Amid everyday stories, virtual sculptures, performances, and sounds, a polyphonic mosaic of memory and the present emerges.

Together, the three walks form an unforgettable route—experience it anytime: from Reumannplatz through the Brotfabrik up to the Böhmischer Prater.
Plug in your headphones, put away your smartphone, and off you go. ¹

A feminist Augmented Reality intervention in public space – marking the 25th anniversary of Tricky Women Tricky Realities.

Augmented reality installations form a digital monument honoring Johanna Dohnal (1939–2010) – Austria's first Minister for Women's Affairs and a symbol of the struggle for equality – and serve as a publicly visible sign of feminist remembrance culture.

The installation at Johanna-Dohnal-Platz invites visitors to learn more about Johanna Dohnal’s achievements and her historical significance through art. The artistically diverse, animated contributions bring the location to life virtually, transforming it into a place of democratic action and reflection on social and political conditions.

In collaboration with Artificial Museum, Johanna Dohnal Archiv, AHS Rahlgasse and Top Kino.

Made possible by KÖR Vienna and supported by ZukunftsFonds of the Republic of Austria ¹

STEINE ZWISCHEN DEN FRONTEN - a collaboration with Melanie Hollaus and Christoph Lammerhuber

Shown at the Museums Quartier Vienna Hof 7 infront the Architekturzentrum Vienna.

An augmented reality exhibition that brings to life the places of remembrance of the anti-fascist resistance in the former Yugoslavia and conveys the political, social and historical background in an artistic way.

During Tito‘s reign, over 200 monuments were erected to commemorate the resistance of the partisans and the crimes of the Second World War. Many of the „stone witnesses“ built between 1950-1980 now lead a sad existence.

Instrumentalized, forgotten, neglected or destroyed: what once stood for the unity of all the inhabitants of the republics and autonomous provinces now bears witness to political and social division.

Disputes and wars have made differences visible in the new nation states and contributed to ethnically, nationally and religiously motivated conflicts.
